INH Releases Board Report

The Island Nursing Home Board of Directors released a report summarizing their research and conclusions regarding reopening the nursing home.

The board wishes to express their appreciation for the dedication and commitment displayed toward this community in attempting to find a solution for INH. In all, approximately 26 people outside the INH organization where involved. Your efforts and support did not go unnoticed.

Those involved included:

  • 13 community members involved in the Task Force

  • Auditors from Berry Dunn

  • Counsel from Preti Flaherty

  • Covenant Team

  • DHHS / CMS Teams

  • Ombudsman Team
